I am in agreement with Amanda! Big surprise with them just showing up! But hey...no sense beating around the bush! I liked it a LOT....and no matter that it was "tardy"...I was glad to see an update. I was just going through the MC site and it appears that a lot of the banners I coded STILL don't show up on the site. Cassia and I will have to figure out WHY...seeing as they were coded the same as the ones that DO show up.

Nice post Karri. It's good to see that Merry and Pippin have arrived, although I must admit I am getting nervous at the thought of writing them, as I have never attempted to do so before, but I suppose there's a first time for everything. Good job .

I have never written with the hobbits either... I guess we will see how it goes!

Thanks for your lovely, supportive comments, guys. If it is any comfort, I am more than a little dubious about this whole hobbit thing, too, but it will be good for us elf writers to stretch ourselves a bit. Right?

I always enjoy seeing Eilian-smiley. ;D He is much like fishies; I could jsut sit and watch him for hours if I let myself. (But then I am easily entertained, much like a one-year old. )

Aw! A sweet section, Dee! ;D And a nice job getting our boys to Crickhollow. I wonder if Legolas's feet stick off the end of the hobbit bed?

Yay! Nice post Deana! I liked it a lot! Glad to see that Legolas is in a nice, soft bed, albeit a small one. I too wonder about feet hanging off the end of it. Or...perhaps that hobbits had a guest-sized bed, I dunno...
Anyway...I'm looking forward to the next bit.

Great post Joee. I expecially liked how you described the rooms and all the items the hobbits had from the quest!!!
I guess its my turn now. Did you guys ever discuss what the outline of the plot is? or are we just writting and seeing where it goes from there?
Great post! -Amanda

Excellent addition, Joee! A very nice job of describing the setting while advancing the plot. I especially enjoyed this line: (well, that and he knew it would drive his friend insane, which was always fun)
