HEY Carol,

I am glad that you finally took the leap and began writing and posting. I wanted to reply to your stories on here because I can be a bit more long-winded than on the MC list.

If I recall correctly your first story was A Blue Day in Mirkwood. As I said in a review...somewhere...I love the purple-haired Legolas. You said you have somewhat personal experience in that department, and it shows because you really wrote it well. Not just in that story, especially in A Lesson Learned, when you show how Legolas feels emotionally about his predicament.

I think it is hilarious how Thranduil punished them, and also a wonderful lesson. The whispering Elf maidens was so believable and it made the story so much better for it. I could picture purple-haired-Legolas trying to think of any way out of dancing with a maiden in front of everyone.

And the idea he used it not uncommon. Heck, many people fake injuries to get out of things they are really really loathe to do. I've done it before...oie did i just admit that!? ;D

At any rate, I should be in bed sleeping right now. I have work today *it's 1 a.m.* and I still have to eat something because I've been scrubbing floors ALL day long. That's what happens when you buy a fixer-upper house with a paint splotched wood floor in the guest room. I scrubbed all those darned splotches out. *oh what a plot bunny for a punishment...*
