Hey Daw, I'm really behind on my reading here and am just now reading chapter 5 of Good Neighbours, but I felt the need to tell you that I love your characterization of the twins. It's so refreshing to see them grieving and acting serious, instead of just being the practical jokers that they are usually portrayed as. Good job! And on a side note, I must say I am very disappointed. My birthday has come and gone and my gift wrapped Eilian never arrived

Aww thanks you guys. My birthday was on the 10 th but when I went to write the message to Daw, I remembered that I had requested my gift wrapped elf and so I felt the need to point out that he never arrived. I'm hoping there was just a delay in the post office and that he is still on his way, lol. ;D

Joee-- I tried to mail Eilian but the Post Office wouldn't take him, even though I had poked holes in the box so he could breath. So he's here now, looking over my shoulder and wishing you a belated happy birthday. Thank you for your kind comments about the twins. They were challenging to characterize because Tolkien says so little and fanfic says so much. Also my beta loves them and wanted their reputation to remain unsmirched!
