I'm not good with challenges...BUT I was hoping someone might try to write something along the following lines:
1- Aragorn and Legolas are main characters and under NO circumstances can they get hurt...(doh...)
2-Elrond is VERY angry that certain above mentioned beings played a prank on him.
3-Here is the hard part...the following must be part of the prank...
* can of aerosol air freshner * a hair brush * red string * poison ivy
Uh...that's all the required prank pieces.
REquired quotes (choose...uh...three):
"What in Middle-Earth is this stuff?!" "You think I treat Orcs badly, just you wait and see what I'm REALLY capable of."
"I didn't do it!", "No...really...I didn't!"
"Would you believe me if I said it was the twins? How about Glorfindel?"
"Is there royal immunity?"
"Do NOT go in there!"
Uhm...other then that...do what you will people.

And with that challenge, Gwenneth graduates to Wood-elf. Congrats!

1- Aragorn and Legolas are main characters and under NO circumstances can they get hurt...(doh...) Umm...is that even possible? LOL, this sounds interesting, maybe I'll give it a try when I have time.

Tempting, tempting. Those prank items would require a big stretch of the imagination though. Crikey! But I do so love to see Elrond suffer the humor of others.

With a challenge like that I just might have to try and write my first story. I love the topic and since I live with a seventeen year old practicle joker it might not be so hard.
Hmmm I feel and idea coming on thanks Gwenn.
P.S. Also thanks your challenge has not only inspired me to write but has allowed me to grow beyond a mischief elfling lol.

LOL...Yup the prank requirements are a BIT over the top I realize. But I have faith in y'all!
I'm glad some people latched onto this and I'm ESPECIALLY glad that I inspired you to write, Carol. AND that I helped you graduate to Merry Wood-Elf.
I look forward to anything people come up with for this.
If it's TOO hard...you can ditch the red string prank part.

I can't wait to read what you guys come up with! One question just in case I decide to write a story, Is there a deadline for it?

Deadline? Are those common? I hadn't thought of that...but it would be nice to see something by, say, the end of October? Is that a good deadline???
I mean, I'm not going to like ostracize someone who writes one AFTER that...but it would be good to see something soon. Heck, it could even deal with...wait for it, wait for it....
HALLOWEEN!
*grins*
Did I release any plot bunnies with that? Halloween in Rivendell....or Mirkwood...think Elves and a human dressing up as Orcs or something...okay, maybe not that far...perhaps something a little different.
Good question about the deadline...hope I answered it somewhere in this post...
;D

Yes that does help ;D I don't know if I will be able to write a story though because I have two other stories that I am writing right now and I just can't multi-task that much so.... Neuriel

Okay, why don't I dispense with the deadline?! I'd still love to see someone try this...even might have to do it myself to read something with that stuff in it!
The required items, hows about pick two of the four...instead of all of them, since they are off the top.
*anxiously awaits to see if anyone bites it now*

I have an entire folder deadicated to challenges (this one included) that people have posted that looked interesting to me, and once my exams are done, and if my muse permits it, I will write some of them.

LOL! I will add this to my list, too, Gwenneth. I won't have time this week, most likely, but then things should settle down for me somewhat.

Not to worry, Gwenneth. I am still intending to respond to this -- I am just the slowest writer on the face of the earth.

I am still planning on it to respond. I have a collection of posted challenges that look interesting, but I have yet to write. My muse seldom visits me, but when he does, I be sure to let you know.
