Is there some way that The King's Butler can add those extra smilies to the ones we can select from?

Unfortunately, the board is only allotted 16 smiley slots. I can replace the default smileys, which I have done on other boards, but the fancier smileys will throw off the leading (which can be bothersome.) Shall I replace a couple default smileys so you can try out the new ones?

That's too bad about the limit on smilies. Unless someone else really wants you to remove some of the existing ones, it's probably best to leave things as they are then. Thanks for the offer though!

There are some that are the same (or close to the new one's anyway) that you could change. I am not asking you to change all of them but maybe just a couple. But if not that is ok.

Okay, I've replaced four -- we'll see how they go over before replacing anymore. Okay?

The easiest way to use the smilies is like this: On each of Karri's posts with the smilies, click on the Quote icon at the top of the post. Then you'll see the actual code she used to create the smilies. Copy the quoted reply to a text file on your PC. (Use Notepad or Word or something like that.) When you want to put a smilie into one of your posts, call up that file where you save Karri's posts. Copy the section of code that refers to the smilie you want. For example, suppose you want to use the waving smiley You want to copy the following code from your file into your post: [ img ] users.pandora.be/eforum/emoticons4u/fingers/fing31.gif [ /img ] Do NOT put any spaces in your code like I did. I did that so that you will be able to see the code. Be sure to include the whole phrase from the starting bracket to the ending bracket. You don't have to hand type all that in. Just use your copy & paste skills from that text file you created. You don't need to download any of the smilies. In fact, if you do, the smilies won't work. You just want to call them by adding the code to your posts. Does that help any?
