Wow Karri! That's one of the most...straight line - y flakes I've seen yet! That's really cool! I don't know how you did it, but I think I like it!!! *contemplates printing it and putting it on the Christmas tree*
I was thinking of printing out flakes and marking them "Joee's Flake" "Karri's Flake" "Gwenneth's Flake" and putting them on the Christmas tree...my family would probably think I'm nuts! It's a fun idea though.
What do you guys think? AM I crazy?

Yikes Karri. I'm always amazed at how straight you can get your lines. It's very pretty though. What's your secret? Mines always end up so lopsided and uneven. And Gwenneth I think it would be a fun idea. It would certainly be entertaining to watch the faces of your family as you try to explain them.

And here I am trying to figure how people manage to lines that aren't straight to produce those nice snowflakey flakes instead the geometric shapes I alway us end up with. I wonder if it is a Mac thing?

This is a pretty neat shape...I don't know where I came up with it, but I was just trying to get the most squiggly things I could in there!! snowflakes.lookandfeel.com/viewflake.php?id=6024724And I don't think it's a MAC Karri...I tried a flake at work on a MAC and it was the same as I do here...I'm going to go try a line - y one now.

There you go! Now you are getting the hang of line-y ones.

LOL, Thanks Karri!
All it took was a little Grey Goose, orange juice and tomato juice for me to come up with those flakes. I'm a bit "flaky" to begin with...but it took a little ehm...you know.

I like both those flakes, Karri. Straight-liney and non-geo. I keep trying to make a flake that's symmetrical but I can't see to manage it. I think it's the silly button mouse I have.
(I'd much rather blame the laptop's mouse than myself for my inability to create symmetry. ;D)

You know, these flake designs make interesting Roshach (sp?) tests. They do, don't they? ;D A lovely flake, too!

Now that I have figured out how to make straighter lines, I've come up with this. snowflakes.lookandfeel.com/viewflake.php?id=6179201It's very basic but I wish you guys could have seen it when it was spinning. It was very hypnotic and the centre, because of the uneven lines in the star, kind of looked like a sun that shinning.
