Please ask if you have a question about a specific month's contest or the contests in general. Or feel free to suggest a theme or ways of making the contests more enjoyable.
Please don't post story feedback here.

In answer to a question from Deana regarding the April challenge, in The Hobbit, Chapter 1 - An Unexpected Party, Gandalf says, "It is not like you, Bilbo, to keep friends waiting on the mat, and then open the door like a pop-gun!"

Ok....stupid question here...but I haven't asked anybody yet...What exactly is canon and canon characters? I never really caught onto that term...I've just assumed that it meant Tolkien's original characters, places, and races...am I wrong on that?
I figured that, applying to the April contest, the canon characters would be like Estel, Legolas, the twins or anybody like that, Right?

Yup, canon means the stuff that Tolkien made-up, verses fanon, which is the stuff that the fanfic writers make-up. ;D

Where do we post feedback now? Did there used to be a section where you posted it that has now been deleted, or am I just imaging that?

Sorry about that, Joee. There was indeed a feedback thread; it was not a figment of your imagination. No one gave any feedback to the contest stories last month, so I did not bother with putting one up for this month. There is a feeback thread up now, though.
